The ministry of the lector is to proclaim the Word of God.

Eucharistic ministers assist the priest by distributing Holy Communion at Mass, to the home bound, nursing home, and hospitalized parishioners.
Our 37 member senior choir provides liturgical music for the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass and for other special occasions. It presents the Annual Cantata during Advent and "His Last Days" during Lent. Choir rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:45 to 8 p.m. All are welcome to join in song and praise!
The Junior Choir welcomes youth from Grades 3 through 12 and provides music for the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass, the Thanksgiving Mass, First Reconciliation and First Communion and for other special occasions. They join the senior choir in presenting the Christmas Cantata and the recent dramatization of the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus in " His Last Days." Choir rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This choir is open to high school age students and above and provides the music for the 11:00am Mass twice a month. Contemporary group rehearsals are on the Wednesdays preceding the 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month from 6:45 - 8:00pm.. We welcome anyone who likes to sing or plays an instrument.
Catholic education is provided for all youth of the parish in grades 1 through 11. There is an opportunity for parishioners to serve as catechists and aides

Tell a friend, a neighbor a relative about our RCIA for Adults. The purpose of the RCIA is that of Religious Instruction for adults. It is a journey that calls us to acknowledge the God within us and to respond to that calling. The RCIA helps one to seek answers to such questions as
All these and more are addressed through the RCIA! Adults 18 years and over interested in this program are invited to our RCIA classes on Sundays 7:50 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.. in Room 1. It is a wonderful and enriching program for anyone who has not been baptized and for any person who has not received the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation. It is also recommended for anyone who needs to be updated in our Catholic faith.
Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month during the 11AM Mass. Children's Masses are celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9AM and 11AM. All are welcome Registration or parish membership are not required to participate. Hope to see you and your family.
This group of volunteers dedicate time each week for adoration. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed each Friday after the 9 a.m. Mass through 3 p.m. and concludes with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
The Ministers of Hospitality welcome and greet all who worship at Saint Anne.
A group of volunteers who work in close collaboration with the Pastor and Pastoral Minister to provide spiritual services and be a listening presence to the homebound, hospital and nursing home parishioners.
Marriage preperation is provided to engaged couples from the Springfield Diocese by a team of eleven couples who are members of St. Anne Parish and Fr.Rousseau. We provide one day programs held on Saturdays form 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as a four week program comprised of four 2-hour sessions. This group of people offers prayerful support for the special intentions of our parishioners.
" The object of the Sodality-Guild is to assist the Pastor to further Catholic activities in the parish and to promote cooperation and sociability among its members." ( By-Laws Article 2 )
A program to support the Catholic charities of our diocese by an annual appeal.
The second week of the month, the parish family is invited to bring canned goods and staples or to make monetary donations to be distributed to needy families in our parish and community. On special occasions requests are made for clothing.
This ministry visits and welcomes newly registered parishioners.
The Fellowship Ministry oversees the "coffee hour" which takes place every first Sunday after the 7 and 9 a.m. Mass. Thay also gather volunteers to provide refreshments for our parish functions.
St. Anne Parish helps to prepare and serve meals at the Chicopee Soup Kitchen on the 2nd and third Wednesday of the month. Anyone interested in helping is asked to call the rectory or to email Sr. Doris. Barbara Maher is the contact person for the 2nd Wednesday and Carol Menard for the 3rd Wednesday.
An opportunity to sew Baptismal robes which are precious keepsakes in the lives of the newly baptized.
This ministry has made thousands of rosaries and mended broken ones, all sent to missions throughout the world promoting prayer and peace.

A means to foster Marian Devotion and draw Mary's guidance an protection upon our families by taking the statue into one's home for a week of devotion and prayer.
" A representative group of parishioners who assist the Pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education and service activities within the parish." ( St. Anne Parish Pastoral Council, By-Laws 2 A. ) There are four commissions : Spiritual Life, Family/Community Life, Education, Building and Maintenance. These commissions depend on council members and parishioners to develop programs and ideas that are submitted to the Parish Pastoral Council. Meetings are held monthly September through June.

The Finance Council is a consultative body which provides the Pastor with information and suggestions, which enable him to make proper decisions for the administration of parish property and finances.Chairperson:

Volunteers count and record donations from the weekly envelopes collected at Mass.
This group welcomes women and men who help keep the altar and sacristy clean and attractive. They take care of the flowers, altar cloths, etc..
Boys and girls of ages 9 and up assist the priest at weekend Masses and on Holy Days on a scheduled assignment.
Adults servers assist the priest at the daily Mass, funerals, and at other church functions.
Our goal is to provide the youth of the parish with service, spiritual, and social activities. There are two youth groups that meet on the first Sunday of every month from 6:00-8:00pm . Both groups also have participated in regional and national conferences and camps including New Spirit Camp, Diocesan Youth Day, New England Youth Gathering, National Catholic Youth Conference and World Youth Day. Fund raisers provide most of the money needed for these experiences. Adult advisors are present at all meetings/functions.
Middle School Youth Group: this group is open to all those in grades 6-8 and meets in Room 2.
High School Youth Group: This group welcomes all those in high school and meets in Room 1.
